Postpartum Strength & Conditioning Program for Netball Athletes
This agreement is effective upon purchase and applies worldwide. Last updated: April 2026.
Important notice before you proceed
This program is not physiotherapy, pelvic floor rehabilitation, or postnatal medical care. It is a strength and conditioning program designed exclusively for postpartum athletes who have already been fully cleared to return to normal training by both their treating medical professional and a Women's Health Physiotherapist (or equivalent pelvic health specialist). Do not purchase or commence this program unless you have received that clearance in writing.
1. Program eligibility & scope
This postpartum strength and conditioning program is designed for netball athletes who have given birth and have been medically cleared to return to full participation in sport and physical training. It is not suitable for athletes who are still in the early or progressive stages of postnatal rehabilitation.
By purchasing this program, you confirm that:
* You have given birth and are postpartum
* You have received written or verbal clearance from your doctor, obstetrician, or midwife to return to sport and exercise
* You have been assessed by and received clearance from a Women's Health Physiotherapist (also known as a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist or Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist) or equivalent qualified pelvic health specialist in your country
* You have been cleared to return to normal levels of sport, including running, jumping, and strength training
* You do not have any unresolved postnatal conditions including but not limited to: diastasis recti (abdominal separation), pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic girdle pain, stress urinary incontinence, or perineal complications
This program is not appropriate for athletes who are currently breastfeeding and have not discussed the implications of high-intensity training with their healthcare provider, or for athletes within 12 weeks of giving birth regardless of clearance status. General guidelines recommend a minimum of 3–6 months postpartum before returning to high-impact sport; however, individual clearance timelines must be determined by your treating health professionals.
2. Medical disclaimer
The information and programming provided is of a general nature. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any injury, medical condition, or postnatal complication. This program does not replace the advice of your doctor, obstetrician, midwife, Women's Health Physiotherapist, or any other healthcare professional involved in your postnatal care.
This program has been designed by a qualified personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach. Individual results will vary. All exercise is performed at your own risk. If at any point during this program you experience symptoms including but not limited to: pelvic pain, heaviness or pressure in the pelvis, leaking (urinary or faecal), pain during exercise, unusual fatigue, or any other concern — stop immediately and consult your Women's Health Physiotherapist or treating doctor before continuing.
The standard of "qualified health professional" and "Women's Health Physiotherapist" refers to a person appropriately licensed or registered to provide this specialist care in your country of residence. Equivalent titles include Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist, or Obstetric Physiotherapist depending on your jurisdiction.
3. Pre-Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) *Required
If you answer NO to any clearance question or YES to any question marked with a warning, do not proceed — consult your healthcare provider first.
Physical Activity Readiness Questions (PAR-Q)
MEDICAL CLEARANCE — ANSWER YES TO CONFIRM

I have been assessed by and received clearance from a Women's Health Physiotherapist (or equivalent pelvic health specialist) to return to normal levels of training including running, jumping, and strength work.
I am at least 12 weeks postpartum.
CURRENT SYMPTOMS — ANSWER NO TO ALL TO CONFIRM READINESS
I currently experience urinary or faecal leaking during exercise, coughing, sneezing, or lifting.
I currently experience pelvic heaviness, dragging, or a sensation of bulging or pressure.
I currently experience pelvic girdle pain, hip pain, or pubic symphysis pain.
I currently have unresolved diastasis recti (abdominal separation) that has not been assessed and managed by a Women's Health Physiotherapist.
I currently experience pain during or after exercise.
I have any other unresolved postnatal condition or injury that may affect my ability to safely participate in strength and conditioning training.
Pre-Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q)
Before participating, each athlete should be able to answer NO to all of the following questions. If any answer is YES, the athlete must obtain clearance from a qualified health professional before commencing these sessions.
1. Has a doctor ever said that you have a heart condition, or recommended only medically supervised physical activity?
2. Do you experience chest pain, dizziness, or loss of consciousness during or after physical activity?
3. Do you have a bone, joint, or muscular problem that could be made worse by physical activity?
4. Are you currently pregnant, postpartum (within 12 months), or do you have any pregnancy-related considerations?
5. Do you have any other medical condition, injury, or are you taking prescription medication that may affect your ability to safely participate in physical training?
6. Are you aware of any other reason why you should not engage in physical activity?
These sessions assume athletes have no existing injuries, medical conditions, or contraindications that would affect safe participation.
4. Assumption of risk & limitation of liability
Participation in physical training as a postpartum athlete carries inherent risks, including those specific to the postpartum body. By accessing this program, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with physical training to the fullest extent permitted by the laws of your jurisdiction.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pre-Season Pro, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of or inability to use this program, including but not limited to personal injury, pelvic health complications, property damage, or loss of performance.
Nothing in this agreement excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of your jurisdiction — including, where applicable, rights under Australian Consumer Law, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, EU consumer protection directives, or equivalent legislation in your country. Where such rights exist, this limitation applies only to the extent permitted by law.
5. Individual responsibility & modifications
Even with full medical clearance, postpartum athletes are responsible for listening to their body and self-regulating intensity at all times. You are encouraged to work alongside your Women's Health Physiotherapist throughout this program to monitor load management and any symptoms.
Any modifications, progressions, or adaptations to this program are implemented at your own discretion and responsibility. Pre-Season Pro accepts no liability for any injury or complication arising from failure to follow the program as prescribed, or from commencing the program without appropriate clearance.
